Altair, Raymond James Financial, Great Southern Bank, and more nab new CISOs. The Colonial Pipeline Company hires its first chief information officer.

Colonial Pipeline Company, an East Coast fuel pipeline system, named Adam Tice as its first chief information security officer to improve their defense mechanisms. Tice comes to Colonial Pipeline from Silicon Valley Bank with hands-on experience dealing with cybersecurity breaches and threats. 

FTI Consulting hires Thomas Hutin

FTI Consulting, a global business advisory firm, appointed Thomas Hutin as its senior managing director in the firm’s cybersecurity practice. Hutin has served the French presidency as an information systems security manager, and brings more than 25 years of cybersecurity strategy and risk management experience across industries.

Altair, a software company specializing in artificial intelligence and data analytics, hired Jeff Marraccini as its chief information security officer. Marraccini has 25 years of experience with Altair, previously serving as the company’s senior vice president of cloud strategy and technology.

The United States Office of Personnel Management, human resources agency for the federal government and personnel management policy manager, appointed James Saunders as its chief information security officer. Saunders previously worked as the agency’s senior advisor for cloud and cybersecurity. 

Managed Compliance and Cybersecurity Provider Cerberus Sentinel hired former Experian chief product manager, Dave Bennett, as its chief operations officer. 

Raymond James Financial, a financial services firm, nabbed Todd Ferguson as chief information security officer. Ferguson brings over 20 years of industry experience and served in the United States Marine Corps. 

Artificial Intelligence business solutions provider People.ai hired Aman Sirohi, former senior director of cybersecurity at Guidewire, as chief information security officer.

Solution-II, an information technology management company,  gained Jason Norrad as chief information security officer. Norrad boasts 25 years of experience in risk identification. 

Great Southern Bank hired Benjamin Wise as its chief information security officer and head of technology. Wise formerly worked as Macquarie Group’s divisional chief information security officer for 4 years. 

ConnectWise appoints Patrick Beggs as CISO

Software security provider ConnectWise hired Patrick Beggs as chief information security officer. Beggs has 20 years of experience in information security in a variety of industries, but most recently worked as global cyber operations executive for Cognizant Technology.

Appfire, a software platform for developers, hired Doug Kersten as chief information security officer. With over 20 years of experience, Kersten has led numerous information technology and security programs at various organizations.
