Query.AI and Rockwell Automation gain new CISOs. CISA assistant director moves to Exiger, and Microsoft security veteran to Samsara.

Third-party risk management firm Exiger hired former Department of Homeland Security official Bob Kolasky as senior vice president of critical infrastructure. Kolasky was previously assistant director for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within DHS, where he led the National Risk Management Center.

Surveillance and risk management provider Eventus Systems hired Josh Bosquez as chief technology officer. Previously, Bosquez spent three years as chief technology officer with Armor Cloud Security, a cloud security provider based in Texas.

Cybersecurity investigation insight company Query.AI hired Neal Bridges as chief information security officer. Bridges brings experience concentrated on threat detection, offensive capabilities, and mitigation methods. 

Phosphorus Cybersecurity, password management and IoT services provider, hired Brian Contos as chief security officer. The cybersecurity veteran formerly served as the vice president of security strategy at Mandiant-acquired Verodin.

Industrial automation and information provider Rockwell Automation named Nicole Darden vice president and chief information security officer. Darden previously worked as global vice president and chief information security officer for Carrier, a home appliance company. 

Dave Bossio, CISO at Samsara

Samsara, an IoT insight provider, hired Dave Bossio as chief information security officer. Bossio has served as head of Windows security and platform integrity at Microsoft and most recently as the senior vice president of security integration at Salesforce.

Content services provider Hyland hires security and programming veteran Dan Dennis as senior vice president and chief information security officer. Dennis comes to Hyland from software company Benefitfocus where he had a similar role. 

Arcfield, an engineering consulting company, hired Mike Smith as chief security officer. Smith spent 23 years with the United States Secret Service, and most recently was their special agent in charge of the Office of Protective Operations.

OYO Rooms, a hotel company based in India, hired Prakash Padariya as chief information security officer. Padariya comes to OYO from PayU, an online payment solutions provider headquartered in the Netherlands, where had a similar position. 

Airspace network security provider Aireye appointed Byan Kissinger to their advisory board. Kissinger currently works as vice president and chief information security officer at Trace3, which is an information technology and cybersecurity management company.
