Expel and Alteryx nab new CISOs. Two insurance companies gain new cybersecurity professionals.

Insurance company Beazley appointed Christian Taube as its new international head of cyber services. Taube previously served as chief information security officer at Contentserv.

CFC Underwriting named Roger Francis, formerly its cyber claims director, as managing director of CFC response. Francis will lead a team of cybersecurity specialists in helping businesses respond to cybersecurity threats.

Dragos has hired Dawn Cappelli as the director of its new program OT cyber emergency response team. Cappelli previously served as vice president and chief information security officer at Rockwell Automation.

Expel has named Greg Notch as their newest chief information security officer. Notch previously worked on infrastructure, security, and software systems for Apple, Yahoo, and eMusic.

Alteryx, Irvine-based data analytics software company, nabbed Lucas Moody as its new senior vice president and chief information security officer. He joins the company from his recent position at Twitter where he oversaw global security.

Neustar Security Services has hired Michael Smith as chief technology officer. Smith brings experience in cybersecurity, information technology, and intelligence.

Jeffrey Wheatman has joined third-party cyber risk intelligence company Black Kite, as their senior vice president cyber risk evangelist. In his new role, he will help clients identify and understand cyber risks.

Cowbell Cyber, a cyber insurance provider from small and medium-sized enterprises, has announced that Joshua Chan has joined their team as chief technology officer. Chan will play an essential role in digitizing broad distribution networks and refining risk assessment.
